sunrise streaks yellow
breeze from the sea to the mountains
the first drops of autumn
season
Early dark
early dark evening
lowering sky autumn chill
summer is over
Ochilview haiku
plastic pellet grass
winter could be summer, spring
blood, sweat, tears, no mud
Three pieces for new year 2017
Old year melts slowly.
New year sun smiles and stretches.
Every year, new year.
*****
New year makes me laugh.
Same as the old one. Always.
Same days, same seasons.
*****
Here comes the autumn.
Always following the summer.
Or is it the spring?
Beginnings
Usual seasons tick start at equinox and solstice. Here though time measures in acts and givings, starts in summer warmth and rain.
Until today, the winter
Until today, the winter has been a wet black dog. Now the dog is growing claws and shaking loose its skin. The white lion is soon to return.
Turn
I feel the autumn breeze
on my heart.
It slows me.
But your spring
is budding
is beckoning to shine.
The world turns.
Lives turn.
Your turn.
Seasons here and where
World turns.
Evening autumn breezes cut through heat.
World turns.
Spring sharpness pierces winter lethargy.
World turns.
